Shady is a tall thin blue-purple rat-like experiment with a kangaroo-like head, yellow cow-like horns, red dog-like long flappy ears, green bull-like snout, goose-like long neck, green stripes, tiger-like body and dragon/monkey/lion-like tail going across his waist up to his chest designed to make shade. He is voiced by Clive Revill.
